I called the next question. It is simply not good enough for the Deputy to allow the next question to be answered and then to raise a point with regard to the previous question.
I have not intervened before. I was about to ask the Taoiseach if he was aware that the Minister for Industry and Commerce said recently that the Government were evolving methods of selection for the appointment of a European Commissioner. Would the Taoiseach enlighten us what progress has been made in the evolution of that process of selection?
As I announced, the decision will be announced later.
