Vol. 294 No. 9

Written Answers. - Diesel Oil Subsidy.

85.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will grant a subsidy towards the cost of diesel oil for heating to horticultural producers, particularly tomato producers.

The authorisation given by the Commission to member states to pay a subsidy on oil used for horticultural purposes expired some time ago and the payment of such a subsidy is, accordingly, not permissible now.
