Vol. 295 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Post Office.

11.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, in view of the increased population in the Knocklyon and Firhouse areas of County Dublin, he will consider providing a new sub-post office in the area.

The necessity for additional post office facilities in the Knocklyon/Firhouse area has been kept under review as development there progresses. I am having the present position specially examined and I will communicate with the Deputy as soon as possible. In the meantime, post office facilities are available from four sub-offices which are about two miles from a central point in the area.
