Vol. 295 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bronchial Asthma Research.

15.

asked the Minister for Health the amount spent annually on research to eliminate or reduce the debilitating effects of bronchial asthma.

Research into asthma, as well as a number of other conditions, is carried out as part of the service provided at a number of hospitals. There is no specific sum of money set aside for this purpose and, without a special study being made, the amount of money being devoted to research on asthma could not readily be estimated.
