asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries why a beef subsidy has not been paid to a person (name supplied) in County Offaly.

The person named was an applicant under the beef cattle incentive scheme but, in accordance with the terms of the scheme, was refused a grant because of an offence under the Livestock Breeding Act, 1925.
