Vol. 296 No. 3

Written Answers. - Brucellosis Grant.

99.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries when his Department will pay a brucellosis grant for the four cows of a person (name supplied) in County Meath which were sent to the factory on the instructions of his Department although afterwards it was found that only three of them were reactors; and if he will pay an ex gratia grant for the fourth cow which was a big loss to the owner.

All four animals in the case referred to by the Deputy were, in fact, reactors. Payment of grants will be made shortly.
