Sketch plans for the proposed new school at Swinford, County Mayo, are being considered in the Office of Public Works. On receipt of an estimate of cost for an approved plan from that office, my Department will sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school. I am unable, at this stage, to say when tenders will be invited for the erection of the school.
