Vol. 296 No. 7

Written Answers. - County Galway Vocational School.

94.

asked the Minister for Education if he will sanction the extension of Kilronan Vocational School, County Galway, to cater for 120 secondary school pupils up to leaving certificate classes.

My Department have approved an extension to Kilronan Vocational School to enable the school to cater for a wide range of subjects and to provide a course of study up to leaving certificate examination. The extension is being so planned for the purpose of the approved curriculum that the floor area being provided would serve the needs of a school of more than 120 pupils. The County Galway Vocational Committee have been consulted in relation to the planning of the extension and agree with the proposed plan for the building.
