This service was established in 1962 subject to the condition that the average number of eligible children being conveyed daily did not fall below seven. As the number of eligible children in the locality had fallen to three, the Department had no option but to discontinue the service. It is regretted that, unless the number of eligible children increases, the service cannot be restored.
