The copy map referred to in the question will issue in the near future. It must be appreciated that the only possible way in which the flow of work in an office the size of the Land Registry can and ought to be managed is on the basis that applications are dealt with in order of receipt, subject to the qualification, that where it is shown that hardship will result from delay, special efforts will be made to deal with the case as early as possible. Consequently inquiries unsupported by that kind of evidence cannot be allowed to accelerate the processing of any particular case.
