Vol. 296 No. 12

Written Answers. - Disability Benefit.

75.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare when disability benefit will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

The person referred to by the Deputy claimed disability benefit in respect of incapacity from 8th January, 1977. He was not entitled to benefit as, according to the records of my Department, he had less than the minimum number of 26 employment contributions paid since his entry into insurance. His card for the year 1976 has since come to hand and the contributions on this card qualified him for benefit. All disability benefit due to the date of the last medical certificate received was paid on 15th February, 1977.
