Vol. 297 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Roads.

13.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount of money being made available during the current year to meet expenditure on the Sallynoggin-Loughlinstown dual carriageway in County Dublin.

I have allocated a Road Fund grant of £500,000 to Dún Laoghaire Corporation in 1977 towards the expenditure on the first phase of this scheme.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government the cost of completing the link roads to the Stillorgan, County Dublin by-pass; and the total cost of the development of the section of the Bray Road from Stillorgan Grove to White's Cross.

The costs to be met from the Road Fund of completing works on the link roads have been estimated at £200,000 and I have allocated a special grant of that amount in 1977 to Dublin County Council. A grant of £77,500 from previous allocations for national roads was also apportioned to the scheme.

The total costs of the road improvements between Stillorgan Grove and White's Cross are estimated at £1.44 million.
