Drilling under contract and other ancillary work is currently being carried out, under the supervision of the Director of the Geological Survey Office of my Department, on the North Clare phosphate deposits. This work will be completed by the end of this month and follow-up appraisal studies, which will take about six months or so to complete, will then be put in hands.
