Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Area Scheme.

76.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if investigations have been completed into the application for a disadvantaged area scheme grant submitted by a person (details supplied) in County Cork for 1976 and 1975; and if he will now arrange payment of the grant.

Investigations in this case are continuing and the Deputy will be advised of the outcome as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will arrange to have a disadvantaged area grant paid to a person (name supplied) in County Cork.

This grant has been paid.

78.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if his Department is aware that a person (name supplied) in County Cork has land in a disadvantaged area; and if he will now arrange to have him included in the disadvantaged area scheme.

In this case the bulk of the farm is situated outside the disadvantaged areas. I am having the position re-examined and will let the Deputy know the outcome at an early date.
