I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that according to the IDA annual employment surveys the number of jobs created and filled in manufacturing industry in the years 1974 and 1975 was 16,200 and 14,500 respectively. Preliminary estimates indicate that about 20,000 jobs were created in 1976.
