, Cavan): In view of the benefits which can accure from this type of activity, the State-sponsored bodies under the aegis of my Department are encouraged to seek and accept foreign consultancy work where this activity affords a satisfactory return and provided it can be carried out without detriment to the duties and responsibilities of these bodies in the performance of their normal functions.
