I announced in the Dáil, on the occasion of the nomination of the members of the Government on 5th July, 1977, that I proposed to have responsibility for energy transferred to the Minister for Industry and Commerce. This has since been effected, and the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy has responsibility for mineral and oil resources.
