In examining how such technological advances may affect the workplace, the Committee recommends the establishment of an Oireachtas committee to consider the broader aspects of artificial intelligence and comprehensive discussions to safeguard both worker rights and employer interests.

Plan of Action on Collective Redundancies following Insolvency Bill

In scrutinising the general scheme of the proposed legislation, the Committee welcomes the removal of an exemption from criminal liability applying where collective redundancies arise from the winding up of a company or bankruptcy.
