An application from the Laytown and Bettystown Development Association for assistance to erect a sports pavilion under the terms of the Community Youth Training Programme was received by AnCO and this application has been approved.
Can the Minister say when it is expected to commence the work?
The approval was sanctioned on 27th October and I take it that, in co-operation with the local people and with anybody else involved in organising the project, the work will get under way quickly.
Would the Minister be prepared to request his officials to make every effort to ensure that the work starts as quickly as possible?
Yes and I shall keep the Deputy informed on the matter.
