It is my intention to proceed urgently with the relevant procedures for the setting up of the proposed career foundation courses in second level schools. These courses will require careful planning and full consultation with the school and teacher organisations and, accordingly, I am not yet in a position to give detailed information of the nature specified in the question.
What delay would the Minister anticipate before being able to give the information requested?
I would say during the reign of the present Government.
Would the Minister be a little more precise?
The Constitution makes that very precise.
