With the permission of An Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 518 to 523, inclusive, and Questions Nos. 530 and 531 together.

I consider that the preparation of answers to these questions would involve an inordinate expenditure of time and money.

Furthermore, the particulars requested relate to confidential internal accounting procedures of the board. The annual accounts of the board as published are in a form which complies with statutory requirements and accords with modern accounting practice.

I consider I would not be justified in requiring the board to furnish for publication accounts additional to those in the form approved in 1976 by the then Minister for Transport and Power after consultation with the Minister for Finance.

524.
