The appointment of consultants for building projects in the colleges of the NUI and the mode of their selection is a matter for the authorities of each individual college. I am not, therefore, in a position to make a statement on the matter.
Concern has been expressed at the fact that University College, Galway does not in fact advertise for such consultants. I would be grateful if the Minister would bring to the notice of the university authorities the point of view——
