Arising out of the recent decision of the school authorities to close the girls' secondary school in Borrisoleigh at the end of the current school year, my Department are considering in consultation with the authorities of neighbouring schools the question of the most appropriate arrangements to be made for the provision of girls' second-level education in the area.
