Vol. 301 No. 10

Written Answers. - County Wicklow Estates.

368.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the present position regarding the acquisition of land by the Land Commission on the Coolattin estate, County Wicklow.

369.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission intends to acquire part or all of the Coolattin estate, Shillelagh, County Wicklow.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle I propose to take questions Nos. 368 and 369 together. Proceedings for the compulsory acquisition of some 362 acres of the property referred to have recently been instituted by the Land Commission and the prescribed statutory notices have been served on the interested parties.

At this stage it is not possible to indicate what the outcome of the proceedings will be.
