asked the Minister for Defence if he intends to proceed with the plan to have a sail training ship constructed at the Tyrrell boatyard in Arklow, County Wicklow.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take questions Nos 371 and 372 together.
Negotiations have now been reopened between my Department and John Tyrell and Sons Ltd., Arklow, with a view to having a new sail training vessel constructed by the company, the work to commence early next year.
