Vol. 302 No. 1

International Development Association (Amendment) Bill, 1977: Committee and Final Stages.

Question proposed: "That section 1 stand part of the Bill."

On the section, I think Deputy Ryan will be aware of the fact that the original commitment was £5 million. As a result of further requests from the president of the International Development Association and the World Bank the Government decided to add an extra £819,705. That is an indication of the response of this Government and the previous Government. That is a measure of our commitment.

Question put and agreed to.
Section 2 agreed to.
Title agreed to.
Bill reported without amendment and passed.

This Bill is certified a Money Bill in accordance with Article 22 of the Constitution.
