asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in respect of Exchequer repayable advances to Bord na Móna, where the original advance was repaid in full: (a) the date on which the advance was fully repaid, (b) the date on which the advance was originally made and (c) the rate of interest.

None of the Exchequer advances to which the Deputy refers has been repaid in full.

asked the Minister for Finance (a) the loans or advances from the State and (b) other loans, if any, received by Bord na Móna for development programmes, (c) the date on which the loans were made, (d) the rate per cent payable on each loan (e) the annual loan charge in each case, indicating the advances under each of the three development programmes, and (f) the date on which the last loan charge fell due, or falls due.

The following tabular statement gives in summary form the information sought in so far as Exchequer advances are concerned. As regards loans from other sources the State body in question is not under the aegis of my Department and I am not in a position to furnish the details sought.
