Vol. 302 No. 7

Written Answers. - TV Retailer's Licences.

189.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if a television retailer (name supplied) in Dublin is expected to obtain licences in respect of television apparatus for sale; if all retailers are so bound; and if he considers that this practice would lead to an intolerable burden on these retailers.

All retailers of television sets are required to have one licence in respect of each address at which television apparatus is held. The answer to the last part of the question is no.
