asked the Minister for Finance why the contractor has not completed the outdoor work, such as walls and gates, on Bracknagh national school, County Offaly; and the reason for the long delay.

Completion of the outstanding works was held up pending settlement of some matters relating to the original contract. The contractor has promised to put these works in hands early next month.

170.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will approve the tender for Walsh Island school, County Offaly.

Tenders for the enlargement and improvement of this school are being examined and subject to the clearance of a few points the manager will be asked to lodge a contribution towards the cost of the work. When the contribution has been lodged a tender will be accepted.
