2.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state with regard to section 35 of the Succession Act, 1965, if any district probate registry offices have been established to encourage people to take out grants of representation and facilitate them in winding up the affairs of their deceased relatives; and, if so, where.

The Deputy will be glad to learn that District Probate Registries were established on 1st January, 1967, by the District Probate Registries (Places and Districts) Order, 1966 (S.I. No. 274 of 1966) at 14 centres throughout the State.
