Vol. 304 No. 5

Written Answers. - Postal Orders.

396.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will make arrangements with the British authorities to allow Irish postal orders with stamps attached to be cashed at their full value.

The value of an Irish postal order may be increased by affixing postage stamps not exceeding two in number or a total value of 9p in the spaces provided. Under existing arrangements postal orders with postage stamps affixed can be cashed at their full value at post offices in Britain as well as in Ireland.
