There are no proposals at present before my Department for this scheme. I understand however that the local authority are having a preliminary report prepared for a revised scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment when it is hoped that the sewerage scheme for Fahan, County Donegal, will be started.
If the local authority obtain a suitable tender for its construction I expect that work will start on this scheme in the current year.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will approve the following small water and sewerage schemes in County Offaly: (1) Island Ballycumber (£15,000.00) (2) Cloghan Sewerage Scheme (£8,000.00) (3) Banagher Sewerage Scheme (£5,000.00) (4) Kinnitty Sewerage Scheme (£1,300.00) (5) Stonestown G.W.S. Headworks (£5,000.00) (6) Kilcormac Sewerage Scheme (£5,000.00) (7) Tullamore Sewerage Scheme (St. Colman's Tce.) (£13,000.00), the total cost of which is £52,300.00.
Offaly County Council have been advised that Schemes 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 together with one other scheme not listed by the Deputy are in order for inclusion in their Small Water and Sewerage Schemes Programme for 1978. I have notified the council that their allocations for Small Schemes in 1978 is £37,300 which is the estimated cost of the 6 schemes referred to above. Schemes 1 and 5 on the Deputy's lists are being considered in the context of the group scheme development to which they refer.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he has approved the extension of Tullamore sewerage scheme to Church Road, New Road and Clonminch Road, Tullamore, County Offaly, to enable the work to commence.
My Department are at present processing a loan application for £200,000 to finance this scheme for which I have approved the acceptance of a tender.
