Inquiry has been made as to whether the Church of Ireland Board of Education and the Secondary Education Committee would wish to be invited to meet the Minister for Education for discussions on the provisions of the draft model of trust for the community schools.
Invitations to a meeting with the Minister in relation to this matter have not so far been issued to any other organisation or group.
The provisions of the present draft of the model lease in relation to representation on the management board are set out at paragraph (3) of the First Schedule of the Lease. A copy of the lease was placed in the Library of Dáil Éireann on 6 May 1976.
