Vol. 306 No. 3

Written Answers. - Boyne Drainage Scheme.

185.

asked the Minister for Finance when a decision will be reached, regarding the final compensation to a person (details supplied) in County Meath, in connection with the spoil and damage done to his land during the Boyne drainage scheme.

Compensation has been offered to the person concerned but the amount offered has been refused. It is not possible to say if agreement will be reached on the amount of compensation. It is open to the claimant in default of agreement to have the claim referred to arbitration in accordance with the provisions of the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.
