Vol. 306 No. 6

Written Answers. - Dublin Court Arrangements.

151.

asked the Minister for Justice when the proposed additional court accommodation will be made available at Upper Ormond Quay, Dublin; and if he proposes to increase the number of permanently assigned district justices in the Dublin Metropolitan District and adjoining areas.

I expect that the new court accommodation in Ormond House will be ready for occupation next month.

The question of the number of justices required properly to discharge the volume of business arising from time to time in the District Court is kept under continuous review, and the Deputy may take it that if the Government are satisfied at any time, on the basis of such review, that an increase in the number of justices is warranted they will make the necessary arrangements to effect such an increase.
