: (1) The statutory provision for the establishment of the Registration Council is contained in section 1 of the Intermediate Education (Ireland) Act, 1914.
(2) The present composition of the council is provided for in the Registration Council (Constitution and Procedure) (Amendment) Rules, 1974 (S.I. No. 162 of 1974), a copy of which is available in the Dáil Library.
