Vol. 306 No. 10

Written Answers. - Offaly House Grant.

122.

asked the Minister for the Environment why the balance of £100 of a new house grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

The new house grant of £175 allocated in this case was fully paid in 1977. A subsequent application was made for the special rate of grant and the additional sum of £50, which has been approved, will be paid shortly. The local authority will be notified of the payment and can then arrange for the payment of a supplementary grant of £50 if the applicant is eligible.
