Vol. 306 No. 11

Written Answers. - Dublin House Purchase.

133.

asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (name supplied) in Dublin who purchased his house from Dublin Corporation about three years ago and paid cash after one year is now entitled to some financial concession in the context of any proposals he might have with regard to changes in the purchase scheme for similar tenants.

The recently announced concession to purchasers of local authority houses under the pre-July 1973 tenant purchase schemes applies to persons who redeemed the purchase annuity on their houses on or after 1 March 1978. As the annuity of this house was redeemed in February 1975 the concession is not applicable.
