: The total authorised capital allocation to housing authorities in the north Cork area in 1977 for their local authority housing construction programmes was £740,000. Their total expenditure on their programmes in that year was approximately £432,000.
The house purchase loan scheme is administered by my Department for Cork county as a whole and statistics of allocations and payments in north Cork during 1977 are not available. No formal allocation of capital for 1977 was made to the county council for the scheme. Their expenditure during the year was £1.76 million.
No other capital allocations for housing were made by my Department to north Cork in 1977.
