: I am informed by Bord na Móna that the answer is no.
I am also informed by Bord na Móna that they have been engaged in vegetable growing on an experimental basis since 1970. In the course of these experiments they produced potatoes in the years 1971 to 1976, inclusive, for Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teo., Tuam. No potatoes were produced in 1977 and 1978 as they did not suit the requirements of crop rotation.
