: The Building Industry Council were one of the many bodies that replied to the invitation for comments on the draft of the building regulations published by my Department. Full consideration will be given to all the comments received in an examination of this draft which has commenced. Pending completion of this examination I do not consider that any further statement by me would be appropriate.
