: Present estimates indicate that approximately 500 to 600 tenant purchasers are entitled to a cash refund following the revision of the terms of the pre-July 1973 tenant purchase schemes which I announced on 1 March last.
I cannot at this stage state how many refunds have in fact been made, but I have requested the local authorities concerned to complete the making of the refunds before 30 September and to submit a return of refunds made to my Department before 31 October next.
