Vol. 308 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ballina AnCO Training Centre.

506.

asked the Minister for Labour if he will state in respect of the AnCO training centre at Ballina, County Mayo: (a) the number of apprentices under instruction, and (b) the trades, professions and skills in which they are being instructed.

The Ballina Training Centre is devoted exclusively to the provision of adult training courses in welding, general engineering and machine operating and no first year apprenticeship off-the-job training is carried on there.

Apprenticeship training for the Ballina area is located in the Sligo Training Centre where there are courses available for apprentice bricklayers, plasterers, fitters, electricians and motor mechanics.
