As records in relation to the number of applications were not kept on a county by county basis until the beginning of this year, precise figures are not available for the number of applications received in County Roscommon since the scheme began. Since 1 January last, 159 applications were received. In the period from 6 July 1977 to 30 September 1978, 155 grants were approved in the county and 33 were paid.
