The IDA are actively promoting the 72-acre industrial site in their possession at Dungarvan for a large-scale project requiring a substantial volume of water. The authority are of the view, which I share, that the construction of an advance factory on this site at present would not help to accelerate the creation of manufacturing employment in the town.
