Vol. 309 No. 5

Written Answers. - Mid-Western Health Board Funds.

413.

asked the Minister for Health if he will make a further £45,000 available to the mid-Western Health Board to continue its minor improvement programme until the end of the year; thus ensuring the continued employment of 60 workers.

The management of the programme for minor capital works is a factor for the health boards, within the capital moneys allocated by my Department.

The Mid-Western Health Board have had the position regarding their minor capital programme for the current year under review and I understand that the board are now satisfied that the programme can be continued until the end of the year within the allocation made for 1978.
