The Industrial Development Authority are actively promoting the Clonakilty area for suitable industrial development. I understand that negotiations are at an early stage with an overseas industrial promoter who has expressed an interest in locating a project to employ 30 to 40 people in the former Carbery Tweeds factory in the town.
