Vol. 310 No. 1

Written Answers. - Flexi-Hours.

313.

asked the Minister for the Public Service the Government offices in which flexi-hours have been introduced; the extent to which, and by whom flexi-hours are being opposed; and where and when further progress will be made on the introduction of flexi-hours.

Flexible working hours have been introduced on a pilot basis in sections of the following Departments/Offices: Revenue, Public Service, Civil Service Commission, Labour, Tourism and Transport, Posts and Telegraphs.

Negotiations with staff interests are in progress with a view to (1) expanding the pilot areas in Revenue, Labour and Tourism and Transport and (2) the launching of a pilot project in Agriculture.

There is now co-operation by all concerned in the working of the system.
