I understand from the Land Commission that a resale scheme for these lands has been approved and will be put into operation shortly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give the following particulars in respect of each estate, held by the Land Commission, in County Tipperary, on 1 February 1979, (a) name, (b) location, (c) size, (d) how long it has been acquired by the Land Commission and (e) when a division can be expected.
The information requested is set out in a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report. It is not possible to indicate at this stage when all the cases listed will be allotted but it is hoped that those indicated with an asterisk will be wholly or partly allotted in 1979. There is some concern in Tipperary at the length of time these estates have been in the hands of the Land Commission. I would urge him to try to arrange for early divisions.
I will convey the Deputy's remarks to the Land Commission with a view to having the lands divided as soon as possible.
