asked the Minister for Education when sanction will be given to Kilkenny VEC to advertise for tender the proposed new school at Thomastown vocational school, Kilkenny, which is urgently needed.
With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 48 and 49 together.
Revisions of the outline sketch plan for the extension to the Thomastown vocational school are currently being discussed with the vocational education committee's architect. My Department would hope to clear the plan in the very near future.
